Peter Shapiro Wins California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Vision Award for Communication
Massingham & Associates Management, Inc. Manager, Peter Shapiro, is Recognized for Outstanding Communication Skills with California Association of Community Managers Vision Award
Hayward, CA August 18, 2009 - Massingham & Associates Management, Inc., an Associa member company, is pleased to announce that Community Association Manager, Peter Shapiro, CCAM, was the winner of this year’s California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Vision Award for Excellence in Communication! CACM’s Vision Awards program recognizes the “best of the best” individuals for their outstanding achievements in the community association management industry. Award winners and nominees illustrate high standards of management, certification, training and commitment to excellence.
Mr. Shapiro is a veteran portfolio manager at Massingham & Associates. His communication skills are well deserving of an award and the particular case that was submitted to the CACM Vision Awards was no exception. Mr. Shapiro recently had a challenging situation where a developing association’s developer was unable to complete the project and ended up going bankrupt, leaving the association in a very precarious position. Mr. Shapiro did an excellent job gathering information, finding homeowners to be board members, educating the board members on aspects of management, finance and other association affairs and holding a meeting with the owners to explain the situation. This could have been a volatile and disastrous event and it turned out to be a well planned and communicated event where owners were commending Mr. Shapiro for his great leadership. This award is a true testament to Mr. Shapiro’s dedication to providing the very best in customer service to the board members and homeowners he serves.
